August weddings have a magic of their own — warm light, golden evenings and the relaxed feeling of summer celebrations. Jolie and Ashley’s beautiful wedding day was the perfect example of that magic. From a calm morning at Cothlestone Manor, to their heartfelt ceremony at Bradford on Tone Church, and a joyful reception back at the manor, the whole day unfolded with warmth, laughter and unforgettable moments.

Bridal Prep at Cothlestone Manor

The day began at the stunning Cothlestone Manor, where Jolie got ready surrounded by her closest friends and family. The manor itself provided a breathtaking backdrop — elegant interiors, historic charm and soft natural light pouring through the windows.

I always love seeing the brides choice of dress and shoes and Jolie's didn't disappoint! Not one, but two pairs of heels and even better, one pair were Jimmy Choos and the other pair was Christian Le Boutin! Jolies dress was stunning and she looked beautiful.

There’s always something special about the quiet anticipation before a wedding ceremony, and this beautiful setting made those moments even more memorable.

A Meaningful Ceremony at Bradford on Tone Church

Guests gathered at the picturesque Bradford on Tone Church, a charming and intimate setting for Jolie and Ashley to exchange their vows. The ceremony was heartfelt and full of emotion, with beautiful light streaming through the stained glass windows as the couple stood together at the altar.

One of the highlights was the joyful moment as the newlyweds exited the church, complete with a sword arch for the newly weds, then to be greeted by cheering friends and family. Their celebration began immediately, with smiles, laughter and a sense that the day was going to be something truly special.

Celebrations at Cothlestone Manor

After the ceremony, everyone returned to Cothlestone Manor for the reception. Set among the stunning countryside surroundings, the manor provided the perfect space for guests to relax and celebrate.

Garden games kept guests entertained throughout the afternoon, creating a wonderfully relaxed and sociable atmosphere. With the sun shining over the grounds, guests mingled, laughed and enjoyed the beautiful setting.

Incredible Food and a Surprise Performance

The reception meal was absolutely fantastic, the caterers even cooked me a beautiful meal, steak! my favourite! and it was melt in your mouth perfection — beautifully presented food enjoyed by everyone gathered under the marquee.

Just when guests thought the meal couldn’t get any better, the singing waiters made their surprise appearance. This was arranged by the Grooms parents as a suprise for Ashley and Jolie! The room quickly filled with music, laughter and guests singing along, creating one of the most energetic and memorable moments of the day. the singing waiters even got the whole room of guests to do the Konga! Such great vibes and definitely my kind of people!

Golden Hour Magic

As the evening approached, the light turned soft and golden across the surrounding fields. Jolie and Ashley took a quiet walk together while the sun began to set, giving us the chance to capture some truly stunning portraits.

Golden hour at Cothlestone Manor is something special — warm tones across the grass, long shadows and the kind of romantic atmosphere that every couple dreams of for their wedding photographs.

The Perfect End to a Beautiful Day

From the emotional ceremony to the laughter-filled reception and that gorgeous sunset finish, Jolie and Ashley's wedding was full of personality, love and unforgettable moments.

It was such a privilege to capture their day — a celebration surrounded by wonderful people, beautiful Somerset countryside and a couple whose happiness was evident in every moment.
