Spring Mini Sessions 2026

Where Spring Felt Like Home

Every year, I look forward to spring sessions—but this year felt especially meaningful.

There was something about the space, the energy, the way everything came together that made it feel less like a “setup” and more like a place people could simply be. And a huge part of that is thanks to Aizel Hayes from Yalham Hayes Flower Farm, who created something that felt so beautifully in tune with how I love to photograph.

From the very first session, I noticed the difference.

Families walked in and immediately relaxed. Kids didn’t need much encouragement—they were drawn in, curious, comfortable. Parents softened too. There was no pressure to perform or pose perfectly. Everything just… flowed.

That’s always my goal with these sessions. I don’t want stiff smiles or overly styled moments. I want connection. I want the in-between. The little glances, the giggles, the way a child leans into their parent without thinking. And this year, those moments came so easily.

I think what made it so special was how natural everything felt. Nothing was overdone. Nothing felt out of reach or “too precious.” It created space for real memories to happen, not just be captured.

Some of my favourite moments this year weren’t planned at all—
a baby sitting happily, completely content in their little world,
siblings laughing together in a way only they understand,
a family settling into each other like it was just another quiet moment at home.

Those are the images that matter most to me.

And honestly, that’s why this collaboration meant so much. Aizel didn’t just design something beautiful—she created a space that supported the heart of what I do. It allowed me to photograph people as they really are, without distraction, without forcing anything.

Looking back at this year’s galleries, I don’t just see spring.
I see connection. I see warmth. I see stories.

And I feel incredibly grateful—for the families who trusted me, for the moments we captured, and for the creativity that helped bring it all together.

This season felt like a reminder of why I love what I do.

And I already can’t wait to do it all again.
